With Gratitude

After nearly 14 years, On Purpose Project is closing its consulting practice at the end of 2025. This feels less like an ending and more like the close of a long, formative season.

It has been our privilege to help teams and leaders pay closer attention to how they work together—especially in the moments that are often rushed, avoided, or taken for granted.

A few things we learned along the way:

  • Culture is shaped by everyday behavior, not stated values

  • Meetings, feedback, and decisions are where culture is most visible

  • Avoiding hard conversations doesn’t preserve trust—it erodes it

  • Clarity and accountability, when practiced with care, are forms of respect

  • How people are treated during moments of stress or change matters more than what’s written in any policy

This work has taken us into a wide range of organizations and industries, and it has deepened our belief that improving how we communicate and make decisions together isn’t “soft work”—it’s essential work.

If this practice has offered a question worth pausing on or a small shift worth trying, then this season has done what it was meant to do.

We’re closing this season with sincere gratitude for the people and partnerships that made this work possible.
